Inspired by Shaman King, the story behind this pic is about an achlulomancer-one who can control Darkness-, named Layla(it means Dark Beauty).Its been germinating in my head for 3 years...hope its good.

Found as a baby outside a nunnery in Italy, she spent her childhood studying to be a nun...until she found a dying man outside, in the rain, on her 18th birthday.He was called Azariel.Nursing him back to health, he fell for her-and when he was well, swore to come back for her(I think we know what's next)...He never did.
Fast forward 2 years later, when she is outside drawing water,a large black shadow attacks her...
When she awakes, the entire nunnery is in ruins..and she alone is to answer for it...Or not.
The middle part's still sketchy, but what I can say is that soon after she masters the shadow within her(in the form of two wolves, one white, one black, both chained), she meets a violent spectre of a woman, blinded and straitjacketed,called Dire Straits(Diana Straits was her human name)-who eventually follows her- and gains a little closure when she is hired to stop a "malovent" entity from destroying three male generations of a wealthy family-only to realise it is none other than Azariel(aka the one with the long hair and grey face).With much reluctance, she let him come with her...but you never know
