Here Sleeping Beauty (me) has made changes to her appearance. Her hair is now bound up, her white skirt now red-and an equally dark scarf round her throat, resembling from afar, a river from blood pouring from her fair throat.
We see now not a sleepy innocent, but the face of a woman, steeled against the harsh reality that she awoke to-and will not yield, lest her weakness reveal itself, like a serpent through a crack in an urn...
